The Daily Mary!

Hi There,

In the interest of keeping everyone up to date with our soon to be born kiddo, Katie and I decided to start a blog. Now, I'm not sure what exactly we'll do with this thing, however, it might be a lot of fun for you all to check in from time to time and see just what the boy/girl is up to.

Right now the baby isn't doing much. It must be getting kind of cramped in there now being that Katie is only 2 weeks away from her due date. Every now and then we get a jabby part of belly (not sure how to identify what part of the baby is making said "jabby" part) and we guess at what he/she is doing in there.

Katie has been ordered to stop working as of tomorrow and although it's no big deal (very slight rising blood pressure and some swelling) the Dr. (and I couldn't agree more) said it's time for Kate to get some rest and de-stress. So now it is just wait and see time until baby decides it is good and ready to take on the outside world.

We are very excited although there is still so much to do between now and then. The child's room isn't even ready yet! We will be painting this weekend assuming the child doesn't mess with that plan.

As soon as I learn how to add pictures to this thing you will all see them.
