Ice (Popsicles) Is Good!

The other day Mary and her friend Coco were sitting on the front steps enjoying popsicles with Mary's Mommy (Kate) (in case you weren't sure) and I decided to take some photos.

They are super cute. Mommy too.

Camping...

On Saturday the 19th Kate, Mary and I went camping at Mille Roche Island near Cornwall with the Byrons (our neighbours). We had a great time even if it was a little stressful being that close to the water with a running pair of babies. We went canoeing, we fished and we saw lots of ducks.

The first night our tent was on the wrong slant and I was rolling off the matress all night. We righted it for the saturday night and we were finally comfortable.

Anyway it was a lot of fun and we can't wait to do it again next year.

Oh and this was our first and only camping trip (in a tent) for this year.

Mary Mary Mary...

This morning Mary was left alone for about 5 minutes in her room and in that time she had quite a bit of fun. Mary thinks that if it's in a tube it must be moisturizing cream so the following happened...

Teddy Bears Pic Nic

Not getting enough Mary? Well here's more!

On July 5th Kate, Mary and I went to the CHEO (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario) foundation's Teddy Bears Pic Nic and had so much fun. Mary saw lot's of trucks from the army, she met the police men and got to sit on their motorcycle and took her monkey (named "monkey" of course) for a check up with the doctors and nurses in the B.A.S.H (Bears Ambulatory Surgical Hospital) tent.

Canada Day Weekend.

Above is a picture of Mike and his lovely daughter Morgan and his wonderful Mom Mavis. On Canada day Katie, Mary and I went up to Mike's family's land for the weekend and we had a great time. It was so nice to see Mike's Mom Mavis, his Uncle John and his kids and of course Liz and Chuck.

We celebrated Mavis's __ birthday, we swam and fished in the river behind Mike's Mom's house (Mike's wife Melissa caught the winning 3 beautiful specs which I proudly cleaned nad we ate the next day), and we played with the kids. There was lots of photo and video taken so I will put some on the blog and once again provide a link to the other photos.

Uncle Mike also played some guitar for Mary and Morgan and the girls sure enjoyed it.

Thank you to everyone up north for letting us have such a great time. Thanks to Mike, Melissa and Morgan for enviting us along.

A Day In Kingston With Cousin Tristan and Tio and Tia

A while back on July 7th Mary got her hair done and the Ottawa Lees went to Kingston (with Los Abuelos) to visit mary's Tia Marcy and Tio Will and her Cousin T-T (Tristan).
Together Mary and T-T played on the slides, they ran, they got wet at the water park and they got pushed on the swings by Grandpa and Abuela.

It was a great day and then we had a nice bbq at Marcy, Will and Tristan's new house.

Pictures We Should Have Posted...

Hey,

Here are a couple of pictures that we should have posted from early June. We had a great visit with Mary's west coast Grandma and Grandpa, even if it was a very short one. There was a trip to Montreal and a great bbq party thrown into the 3 days that Paddy and Harry wer in town.

Above is a picture of 3 generations of lovely ladies and then they let the riff raff in for the second shot.

A Trip To The Reid Cottage

Hi Everybody,

It's not very often that we get a chance to blog now. Mary is very active and by the time we have time at night to enter something we are bagged and wanting sleeeeep.

Now that that is out of the way let me say on behalf of Kate, Mary an myself, thank you to Mum and Dad and especially Uncle Harry (my step mum May's brother)for a great week of family fun at the Reid cottage. We were originally scheduled to go to Kashaga Lodge (a total bust so don't book there- dirty, dirty, dirty- until they clean it up and make it livable) but couldn't (ha ha) so Uncle Harry bailed us out and offered up his families cottage for our use (and in a calculator's case) abuse.
Uncle Harry you saved the day and it was a total blast. Thank you.

Mum and Dad, Thank you for cooking up this idea and making it happen for us. You're wonderful and you made a great vacation happen for us.

So the week started out for us on Monday and we got home today. It would have started earlier but Katie had a job interview on Monday so we left right after that. The Reid cottage is halfway between Haliburton and Minden and is a beautiful place to be. I was very fortunate to have access to a fishing boat (keep laughing Dad) although it was of no use to me as twice I had a lake trout to the boat and lost it. We had great fun eating, drinking, playing, drinking, having campfires, swimming, fishing and and bruising our thighs.

Mary's Auntie Erin and cousins Charli and Autum were there and Mary had so much fun with them. Autum posed, Chuck fished with me and Erin enjoyed a nice relaxing vacation.

Anyway, it was a great week and Mary, Katie and I can't wait for next year.

The only thing that made us all sad was that Uncle Marc wasn't there. We had too many early bedtimes and if Marc was there who knows what would have happened.

Thanks again everyone for making the week great.
