Mary loves her salad!
Mary loves salad... As you can see from the pictures below... she sometimes will not eat it on her plate with her fork or spoon but leave it on the table and well.... it gets eaten!

Some of my favorites of Mary
With my new job, Ryan gets to pick up Mary about 45 minutes before I get home, so one day Ryan and Mary were playing outside and Ryan decided to take some pictures.
Mary loves push toys, this one belongs to TJ and her family but Mary decided that it was hers to push and pull along.

Below are Mary's kitty boots. She LOVES these boots. If we do not hide them in the house, she wears them IN the house, I think that she would wear them to bed if we let her. It does not matter how hot it is outside, or if we are even going outside, she WANTS to wear them.

Chris Davis 1976-2008
Three weeks ago, we recieved news that we never thought that we would hear. My cousin Chris had been in an accident that took his life, in Austin, Texas. The last few weeks has been spent talking with family and some of Chris' friends in Ottawa and Austin, remembering some of the great times spent with Chris.
It has been very therapeutic listening and reading what his friends have had to say.
Below is one of my favorite photos of Chris, as it reminds me of the first time that I saw him playing football. He had these 3 massive guys hanging off of him, and he just continued to run the ball down the field. He played rugby and football with everything he had.
Chris is the one in the center running with the ball.
I never really realised until I knew that we would not have them anymore but I really miss our rare talks when we caught up.
I miss him.
