Mary Grows Up A Little More...

First let me tell you that I am not against Mary growing up. I am against Mary growing up so quickly. That being said it should come as no shock to anyone that I would resist Mary getting her first hair cut. To me, the first hair cut is a signal that she is growing up and I'm not ready. Just look at this photo:

Look how cute she is. Alright she's only 6 months old in this and her hair is pretty short. Now look at this photo:

It was clear at Christmas time that we were headed for the salon soon. I just tryed ot stop it from happening. When we go to the salon it was tough to take her out of the car and I stalled and tryed to stop it from happening but finally it had to be done.

Mary got her hair cut at a place called New York New York. It's the same place Mary's mommy gets her hair done and since it was Sal (Mommy's hair guru) that was doing it I was a little more at ease.

Thanks to Sal for only taking a few little cuts out of her hair in the front and not touching anything else. At least it's not in her eyes.

Some Fun With Mary

Mary is a wonderful child. She is just what a kid should be. Care free, messy, loud and very happy. She has a sniffly nose right now and seems to be having trouble with flegm but other than that she is healthy and strong.

The other night Katie was in need of spaghetti and meatballs so that is what we had for dinner. I think Mary liked hte spaghetti but not so much the meatballs as they were all bunched up on the side of her tray. I think she wore most of what she ate too.

After Spaghetti we took (when I say we I mean Kate) Mary for a well deserved bath.

It sure was a whole lot of fun. She is getting so darn big now. It is great that she is growing but it is all happening too fast.

An over time game!

So Ryan is at his buddy's house to watch the game tonight, and I am sure that he is biting at the bit to jump on the phone with his Dad as their two teams are about to enter into overtime!

I thought I should post the above picture! The two of them showing off their new clothes!

A Proud Daddy and a Proud Poppa!

So those of you that know NFL, know that The NY Giants (Mary's Daddy's favourite team) and the Green Bay Cheeseheads (Mary's Poppa's favourite team) are playing each other tonight for a spot in the Superbowl.

My parents were in New York last week and brought Mary a little gift, which has made her Daddy very happy.

When Mary was born, her Poppa sent a little outfit for her that she can now finally wear. Again, she makes her Poppa proud when she is wearing it, and she is awfully cute in it..... (even cuter if you look at her feet!)

I think she is adorable in these outfits even if there are in the wrong colours but what can you do?
