The Christmas Tour 2007

Sadly all great things must come to an end. The Christmas tour of 2007 is no exception.Above is a picture of my family. It had been close to 15 years since I'd seen most of these people and I can say that this Christmas was the greatest I've had in recent memory.

Our journey began on December 23rd at about 10 in the morning when we piled what felt like 150+ bags and parcels into our Matrix and departed for Toronto. It took us about 4 hours to get there, Mary slept almost all the way and we made a couple of stops in Oshawa and Whitby to drop off X-Mas cards off for my oldest friend Warren and his Mom and Nana. We also visited with my Grandpa for a little while in Scarborough. It was nice to see him and although we missed Granny (timing is everything) we left some cookies that we had baked and a Christmas card for her at the hospital.

Then it was off to the hotel where Mary Kate and I settled in for the night. We met with Kathy and Warren for dinner and after we went back to the hotel to sleep.

Then it was Christmas Eve morning:

Off to London to see Granny and Pappa:

We had lots of fun at Granny and Grandpa's house. Mary and her cousins Autum and Charli and Auntie Erin were there and it was great.

We all had a lot of fun and then it was off to bed to sleep so Santa could come. Before we went to bed Autum put some nuts out for the reigndeer and some cookies and milk for Santa. It was great!

December 25th, 2007

We all got up at the crack of 9, opened presents and spent a really nice morning as a family. The only one missing was my brother Marc but fortunately we got to see him later that night.

After opening presents and all getting spoiled like crazy, we had a great fry and relaxed. Later that night was the big dinner. Again it was great ot see everyone that I hadn't seen for so long. Including my brother Marc who I haven't seen for years.

Thank you to everyone who made this Christmas a very special one. We love you.
I went to bed Christmas night feeling more fulfilled then I have in a very long time.
