Okay so again we have let it slide.... we are bad but we have been busy, AGAIN!
As you all know by now, the Playoffs are over and the Senators lost in a not so great series. It was a very bittersweet situation as we were all wanting them to bring the cup home but Ryan got to come home and not have to run off again so that was a bonus! Mary and I were really missing him.
Last week I ended up with a sinus infection and then Mary got sick with a cold. The poor little one had her first fever, which had me in a panic. Dad came over to help me give her sponge baths and just to keep an eye on her. After a trip to the doctors who said she had a cold but seemed to be okay otherwise, her fever gone we were left with just the crankies and a sleepy little girl.
We had had a trip planned to Hamilton for Kara and Trevor's Stag and Doe for this past weekend, but were not sure what to do because Mary had not been feeling well. Well when we woke on Friday morning, the little missus was gabbing away and in a wonderful mood.
So we went to the Coop (our new home as of mid August)to sign the contract and occupancy papers and then packed up the car and off to Hamilton we went. Mary slept all the way to Hamilton, with the exception of one stop!
We had a wonderful weekend visiting with Kara and Trevor. We got to meet their great friends (who planned an awesome Stag and Doe) and Trevor's family. I also got reunited with an old friend of Kara's whom I have not seen in 9 years! We had such a great time!
Speaking of meeting up with people that we have not seen in years, yesterday Mary and I went to visit with an old friend of mine from Saskatchewan who is living in a great house in Aylmer. Cynthia now has two boys, Benjamin and Samuel, who have both been shown on here before, while we were at the beach. Well Cynthia's parents were in town so I got to see them for the first time in 15 years! It was so nice to be able to see them again, as I used to spend A LOT of time at their house!

Mary is getting fussy as she wants more attention!
